This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated each with one of the soldier's five virtues and the words "Discharge Commemoration" "9th Transport". The exterior of each of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with two shells as the base. It's rare to have a complete set of five for these - they're often missing a couple or damaged. The cups come in original cardboard box.
