This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the front with the words "Boundless Heavenly Kindness". The words on the back are "Tokyo 3rd Temporary Military Hospital" and on the other side "Hospital Stay Commemoration". Given the reference to heavenly kindness, this is probably a cup given to a soldier who stayed at a military hospital due to injuries and who received a visitation from the emperor or the empress, considering it's Tokyo.

Condition: Excellent - the words on the back are a bit faded
