This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a statue of the soldier Kiguchi Kohei, who was a bugler who died clutching his bugle in the First Sino Japanese War. The words are "Leaving the service commemoration" and "Loyalty and Bravery". The soldier's name Ishihashi is on the back.
