This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a photo transfer picture of General Hasegawa Yoshimichi. He was the commander of the Imperial Guards division during the Russo Japanese war. He was one of the younger senior commanders of the Russo Japanese war and ended up having another 20 years in service after the war. The words on the cup are "General Hasegawa" and on the back "Sole rights for sale - Kutani Hayashiya" - the name of the maker.
