This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag of the signal unit, an insignia of the signal unit, and a cherry blossom. The exterior of the cup has a fisherman decoration and the words "Leaving the service commemoration" "2nd Signal Regiment". The cup is a rattling cup - the base, which you can see is a bit thick, has a little hole. Inside there's a cavity and a little ball is in there - if you shake the cup it rattles. It's sort of like a whistling cup to give the drinker something fun to do with the cup.

Condition: Excellent - very light fading of the gold
