This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a profile of a warship flying two flags, and the words "Discharge Commemoration". The sailor's name Kawase is on the bottom. There's an anchor on the back of the bottle. The ship looks to be from the Kurama class of heavy cruisers, with three smokestacks and a clearly visible gun on the back. 

Condition: Excellent - one spot on the back where the glaze is missing
