Rare Antique Japanese Military Special Naval Landing Force SNLF Navy Sake Bottle
This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a battleship - either the Nagato or the Mutsu after the first reconstruction. It also has the SNLF helmet and an anchor, and the naval insignia on top with a wreath underneath. The other three sides of the bottle has embossed fans with one of the five virtues of the soldier embossed within each. The words on the back are "Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and the soldier's name Tano. The Japanese marines (SNLF - Special Naval Landing Force, or rikusentai) was a pretty small unit and cups related to it are fairly rare, bottles even more so.
