This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of stirrups and a star, and the words "21st Cavalry Regiment Term Fulfillment Commemoration". The words on the back in black are the soldier's name, Nishijo. The embossed words are "Bizen", which is the name of the kiln that made this type of ware - it's an unglazed ceramic.

Condition: Excellent - some stain marks in the center because it's not glazed
