This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a flag, an embossed branch of cherry blossoms with a bird, and the words "Leaving the service commemoration - 41st Infantry" on the front and "Victorious Return Commemoration - Tianjin" on the back. This would be a reference to the conquest of Tianjin during the Japanese invasion in the late 30s.
