This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a detailed picture of a type 92 infantry gun and a flag with some cherry blossoms. The words are "Victorious Return Commemoration" "36th Infantry" and the words "Infantry Gun". The exterior of the cup has an embossed blossom and poem pattern. It's rare to actually have an infantry gun on the cup - usually they just say infantry gun but generic flag and helmet type decoration.
