Rare Antique Japanese Qingdao Bismarck Barracks Garrison Commemoration Sake Cup

Regular price $0

This is an antique Japanese army sake cup, decorated with a flag and a cherry blossom. The words on the cup are "Bismarck Barracks" "Furlough Commemoration". The soldier's name Omori is in the center. Bismarck Barracks is a building that's still standing, built during Germany's colonial period and then taken over by the Japanese as they took control of Qingdao. The US 22nd Marines stationed here in 1945. I've sold one cup for this before but it's quite rare.
