This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, a flag, and some cherry blossoms. The words are "Great East Asian War Commemoration" "Doing your utmost to repay your country (in black)". Great East Asian war is the name of the Pacific War after about 1940. The reverse of the cup is in the shape of a Japanese devil, the oni. Great East Asian war cups aren't very common and having the oni on the back is quite rare for a military cup.

Condition: MInt. There's one spot between the oni's nose and face where the glaze didn't meet up, but it's a manufacturing issue
