Rare Boxed Set of 5 Antique Japanese Military Infantry Pewter Army Sake Cups
This is a set of five antique Japanese military pewter sake cups with an original box. Each of the cups are identical with the words "43rd Infantry Regiment" on the sides, and the mark "true pewter". This mark suggests that no lead was used in the process - it's more desirable, and also not toxic for use as a result. The cups come with original box, with the words written by hand under the lid "Leaving the service commemoration" and the soldier's name Hanaoka.
Condition: Mint. The box has some wear and tear on the bottom and the clasp is a bit oxidized
Size: 2" across each.
