This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the exterior with a phrase "Spread the Imperial Way" and signed by "General Matsui" with two small seals, one of the seals clearly saying it's Matsui Iwane. The interior of the cup has a star. This General Matsui  was a commander of Japanese forces in China and was in Nanjing at the time of the Nanjing Massacre. The bottom of the cup has the name of the kiln "Kaga Kutani" on it. There is a possibility that this cup is a post-war right wing production rather than a wartime item.

Condition: Mint. The star inside may have been gold previously
