This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a eagle on the front perched on a branch, looking menacingly at the NW - towards the area where Russia would be with the map on the background, which includes northern Japan, Sakhalin island, and the mainland coastline. There are some rays coming out from the bottom, suggesting the rising sun. The words on the back are "25th Infantry Officer Corps".
