This is a beautifully decorated, extremely detailed lacquer army sake cup. The center of the cup has a heavy artillery piece, with a map of what looks like the defensive lines of Port Arthur on the front of the cup. The back of the cup has a map centered around the city of Mukden in the middle, with the unit probably participating in the battle of Mukden as well. The words on the front are "Meiji 37/38th Years War Commemoration" and on the back "Infantry Artillery 2nd Regiment 3rd Company". The cup comes with a new wooden box and a yellow cloth.

Condition: Excellent - the black words for the two bodies of water are slightly smudged.
