This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a nice photo-transfer picture of Admiral Togo. The words on the cup are "Admiral Togo". This dates the cup to after 1904 but before he became elevated to Admiral of the Fleet in 1913. Given his victories this is most likely made in the immediate aftermath of the Japanese victory in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-05. The back of the cup has the words "Kutani - Made by Niki".
