Rare Russo Japanese War Victory Infantry Squad War Record Lacquer Sake Cup Set
This is a set of 3 antique Japanese military sake cups, decorated identically with a sun with rays design. The words in the center are "2nd Platoon 5th Squad". The writing on the rays are places the unit fought in - with dates. The list, starting from 12 o'clock and going counterclockwise, are as follows:
Russia Conquest Commemoration; Nanshan, May 26th; Delisi, June 15th; Gaiping, July 9th; Dashiqiao, July 25th; Haicheng, August 1st; Anshan Station, August 26th; Liaoyang, September 4th; Shahe, October 15th; Heigoutai, February 2nd; Mukden, March 10th; Tieling, March 15th; Kaiyuan, March 19th; Changtu, March 22nd; and Guyushu, April 8th.
