This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a wreath with a star and an anchor, and the words "Banzai". The words on the back are "Russo Japanese War Victorious Return Commemoration" and in the center "Niigata Prefecture Welcoming Party." This is a cup given to returning soldiers for the Niigata prefecture.
