This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a beautifully hand painted Himeji Castle that is done in a style like the traditional East Asian watercolors. The words are "Himeji" "White Crane Castle" and "Russia Conquest  Commemoration". The white crane reference is to the nickname of the castle as it's all white in exterior.

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold
