This is a very unusual Japanese army sake cup, decorated with a poem on the back. It's made of a glazed clay, and on the box it says "Port Arthur White Jade Mountain Bookstore Watanabe Torishiro" "Using Clay from Hill 203 to make this". This is cup that's made with clay from Hill 203 - where the Japanese took a lot of effort to take and eventually conquered, which finally allowed them to shell the city and capture it. There's a poem on the back of the cup although I can't quite read it.

Condition: Mint. The box's lid is damaged.
