Russo-Japanese War Dragonfly Attacks Eagle Metal Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese army sake cup. The picture on this cup is a dragonfly attacking a eagle, with the eagle looking like it's wounded. The dragonfly is a symbol of Japan as one of Japan's early names is the island of dragonfly. Eagle represents in this case Russia, which had a double-headed eagle on the coat of arms. There's a rising sun on the back. The words on the exterior of the cup are "Meiji 37/38th Years Victory Commemoration". The cup is made of some kind of bronze.
