This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a golden kite, a pair of flags, and a wreath. The words on the back of the cup are "Chita Township Reward Drafted Soldiers Volunteer Association" and the bigger words "Congratulations on Victorious Return". The cup comes with original box that has a label from the shop under the lid - noting the location of the shop in Nagoya, which is where Chita is located. This is most likely from the Russo Japanese war period given the style of the cup.
