This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an insignia of the Imperial Guards. The words are "Gifted to Mr. Kashimura Eiichi" and in the middle is the name Nakao. The words on the lid are "One Lacquer Cup" "Military Service Term Fulfillment Commemoration" "Hiroshima citizen" "Gifted by Army Infantry Special Corporal Nakao Taro"
