This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a pair of flags and an insignia for the police with a red cross inside. I have never seen this insignia before - not with the red cross in it. The words are "Congratulations Russia Conquest Commemoration" and on the back "9th Infantry Regiment" and the soldier's full name Kawado Tatsunojo. Since the kempeitai also used the police unit insignia on occasion, perhaps this is a kempeitai soldier - a medic of some sort, attached to the 9th Infantry? 

Condition: Excellent - slight fading of the gold words on the back
