This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a chrysanthemum and a kiri, both symbols of the imperial house. There's also a poem written on it and the words "Russia Conquest Victorious Return Commemoration". The cup is made of some kind of copper based alloy with a gilted surface.
