This is a set of 3 antique Japanese military sake cups, decorated each with a rising sun with rays on the top right, a cherry blossom branch with the words "Russia Conquest Commemoration" hanging from it, and the words "infantry" with a poem. The soldier's name Hisayoshi is on the back - Hisayoshi would be a given name, not a family name as is normal, so the name of the person is probably a family member.

Condition: There's one small chip of the paint on the rim on the biggest cup at 9 o'clock, and some damage on the back of the lacquer on the smallest cup.
