This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a half wreath on the front with some cherry blossoms, all within this rounded, shiny area in the middle that looks like a sun - I've never seen this type of decoration done this way. The words are "Russia Conquest Commemoration" and on the back "9th Infantry Regiment 3rd Battalion". 

Condition: Excellent - slight fading of the colors
