This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a nice gold landscape with Mount Fuji far in the background, and with a flag in front and some cranes flying. The words are "Russia Conquest Commemoration". The cup is made of lacquered wood.

Condition: One small chip of the paint at the rim at 6 o'clock
