Russo Japanese War Victory Treaty of Portsmouth Lacquer Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags and the words "Victorious Return Commemoration" "Banzai". The exterior has the words "Russia Japan Peace Negotiation Meiji 38th (1905) Year October 14th". This is the formal date of the ratification of the Treaty of Portsmouth by Russia, which ended the war.
Condition: Excellent - some light surface wear on the back.
