This is a lacquered Japanese antique military sake cup, decorated with a kiri and the words "Qing Conquest Taiwan Invasion Victorious Return Commemoration". Cups referring to Japan's campaign in Taiwan are very rare. This one and the other I'm currently selling are only one of a few I've ever come across.
