This is an extremely rare antique Japanese military sake cup, made with bakelite and in the shape of a helmet with the badge of the Veterans Association as the base. The inside of the cup is decorated with a Type 92 heavy machine gun and the words "Taiwan 1st Infantry Machine Gun Unit Commemoration" and the soldier's name Yamazaki. The combination of bakelite (of a rarer type of helmet cup) and the Taiwan machine gunner makes this a very unique and rare cup. The embossed words on the rim of the cup is a registered design mark.

Condition: The interior of the cup seems to be discolored over time and the image of the machine gun is quite faded. The color of the words are also fairly dim. There are some scratches on the exterior.
