This is a very rare antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the front with a naval ensign and the words "Warship Ise Launch Commemoration". The back of the cup has the logo for the Kawasaki Shipyard which built the ship Ise. Ise was, of course, the battleship launched in 1916 as the lead ship of her class, and famously rebuilt during WW2 with a flight deck as a hybrid carrier/battleship. As every ship only ever has one launch, these cups are exceptionally rare, especially for capital ships like the Ise.
