This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an interesting insignia of a wreath with the big word "Ken" of "kenpei" or military police. These guys were both your normal military police, but also served in the capacity as a secret police of sorts (especially by 1931). The words on the back are "Kempei 50th Establishment Commemoration". It's really rare to find any cups related to the kempeitai.
