This is an antique Japanese navy commemorative dish, decorated on the inside with a naval insignia, a navy flag, and a life buoy. The exterior of the dish has a very nicely detailed plane and a battleship - looks like the Nagato class. The words on the back are "China Incident Participation Commemoration" "Showa 14th Year" and "Yokosuka Naval District". The whole thing is shaped like a helmet.

Condition: Excellent - small scruff marks on the shiny side, and the three prongs for the dish to sit properly is of course a little worn.
