This is an extremely rare antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a hot air balloon flying in front of Mount Fuji. The words are "Army Balloon Unit" "Discharge Commemoration". The base of the cup is a cherry blossom with the soldier's name Takahashi. Balloon unit cups are very rare - I've ever only come across a handful. This one is in near perfect condition.

Condition: Excellent - very light scratches on the gold
