This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a carefully done map of East Asia - with the Japanese territories clearly listed. The cities on the map are Tokyo, Sendai, Vladivostok, Qingdao, and Beijing. The place names are Korea and Kurafuto - the Japanese name for the island of Sakhalin. The words on the cup are "Gift to Mr. Goto" on top and "Loyalty" at the bottom of the map. This is quite likely a gift from a Chinese person to a Japanese - listing all the places the Japanese person served in or has been to. I'm going to guess the person is from Sendai and then went to these various spots during his service. The reason I guess Chinese is because of the Chinese usage of "Sensei" as a form of "Mr"

Condition: There's some surface wear and on the back a fair bit of weathering of the metal
