This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a ship sailing in the back and a sailor in the foreground cheering, with a navy flag on the ground. The words are "Navy Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and on the back is the sailor's name Hayashi. This is actually the first cup I've seen where an actual sailor is painted - soldiers get almost all the love.

Condition: Excellent - light fading of the gold rim
