Very Rare Antique Japanese Military General Nogi Death Whistling Sake Bottle
This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated on the front with a picture of the Emperor Meiji's tomb, and on the back is a picture of General Nogi with a poem he wrote for his suicide to accompany the emperor. This is one of those whistling bottles - when you pour from it, it whistles. The little animal on the top of the bottle has a hole under it that makes the noise. The words on the bottom is Momoyama - the location where the tomb is.
