Very Rare Antique Japanese Military Manchukuo Empire Establishment Medal Lacquer Sake Cup

Regular price $0

This is a very rare antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags of Japan and Manchukuo, and in the middle is the medal of the establishment of the Manchukuo Empire. The medal itself is nicely detailed on the cup. The words on the back are "50th Infantry Regiment" and on the rim "Manchukuo Empire Establishment Commemoration". This dates the cup to 1934, when Manchukuo went from a transition state to a formal empire. Cups with medals are quite rare, and it's extremely rare to find a cup for a one-off medal like this and in such excellent condition with great details.

Condition: Mint. The words on the exterior aren't shiny like they probably were when first made.

Size: 4.25" across
