This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag with some cherry blossoms. The words are "Manchuria Dispatch Victorious Return Commemoration". The base of the cup is decorated with a rather rare pattern - the words are literally "No enemies" but it really means "Peerless". The soldier's name Nakagawa is in the cherry blossom on the side.
