This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a photo-transfer image of a biplane. This would be a pretty early example of a plane used in the Japanese army air service. The words are "2nd Flying Regiment" "Discharge Commemoration". The soldier's name Tsuda is on the back. Photo transfer cups are very rare.
