Regular price $0

This is a very rare antique Japanese military sake bottle, made in the shape of a soldier carrying what looks like a bomb on the back. The words are "Discharge Commemoration" "36th Infantry". The helmet has a map of Manchukuo with a pair of flags, and the words "Victorious Return Commemoration" "Manchuria Defense". The base of the helmet has three shells with the words "Loyalty and Bravery" embossed on it.

I believe some of these bottles cup with slightly smaller helmets, but I'm not sure if there are variations as I've not seen many of these at all. The cup is loose on the bottle, so if for display purposes I would recommend using some kind of adhesive to keep it on otherwise the cup can fall.

Condition: Excellent - a bit of blemish on the lip of the soldier

Size: 5.75" tall x 2" across
