Very Rare Antique Japanese Military Soldier Shaped Nikudan Army Sake Bottle
This is a very rare antique Japanese military sake bottle, made in the shape of a soldier carrying what looks like a bomb on the back. The fuse on the bomb on the back is lit - these are live bombs. The words on the helmet are "Nikudan" literally meat bomb - referring to the three soldiers in Shanghai during the combat in 1932 when they supposedly blew themselves up to break up Chinese defenses. There's also some grass and other decorations drawn around the feet of the soldier. The inside of the cup is blank.
