This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with an embossed picture of three soldiers carrying a bomb (the long thing), charging towards barbed wire defenses with a poem written over it. This is the story of the Three Nikudan Soldiers - the story is that during the brief Shanghai Incident siege there was an enemy line that was very difficult to penetrate, and these three guys basically took a bomb and ran towards enemy line. They killed themselves but blew a hole in Chinese defenses, so they were lionized as heroes back home. 

Condition: Mint. There's a little notch on the bottom on the front but that's not a chip
