Very Rare Antique Japanese Military Three Nikudan Sacrificing Soldiers Army Sake Bottle

Regular price $124.99

This is a very rare antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with an extremely detailed picture of the "Three Nikudan" or three meat bombs - three soldiers who supposedly sacrificed themselves in the Shanghai Incident in 1931 - carrying a bomb (the long stick you see here with smoke coming out front) that blew open the Chinese defenses that helped the Japanese secure victory. There are some soldiers in the back as well crawling towards enemy lines, minus the bomb. The words on the bottle are "16th Engineer Term Fulfillment Commemoration".

Unfortunately this bottle has a crack on the side, please see closeup

Condition: One crack on the side (left side of the image)

Size: 5.75" tall x 2" across
